After receiving her certification, Joanne began teaching for Dr. Stosny on a weekly basis and then branched out on her own. She facilitated several workshops for the Department of Juvenile Services, Anne Arundel County, Maryland, Young Women’s Group where abuse prevention education and self esteem building was a large part of the presentation and activities. She is currently teaching “Get CompassionPower” for a non-proft in Washington, D.C for groups of chronically mentally ill.
